As the world's first sunscreen brand verified safe for marine environments by the Environmental Working Group and officially endorsed by the Sea Turtle Conservancy, this natural sunscreen company built the category others would later claim — operating under the name Caribbean Sol. Long before conscious consumerism was a trend, Barrier was leading the charge. Radically clean. Pro-people. Pro-planet.

Their silence made them invisible, allowing new brands with big voices and shiny sites to capture the market from beneath them.
